This is a story about a famous book author " austin blair" who wrote his novels based on real people. In his recent book titled - (a class of their own) he writes about a wealthy family who has secrets regarding their daughter and son's incestuous relationship. One day as Mr. Blair was leaving an exclusive members only club. He was shot down and murdered by the elliott son of the burgess who then took his own life. A reporter and journalist who worked for the popular newspaper was assigned the story to find out who murdered the writer. As "david leader" begins researching the story by interviewing Emma burgess the sister of elliott and close friends to the family. It became clear that what Austin blair wrote in his book was based on truth. Later it is revealed that the sister was involved in giving the book author the details about her families life. Once her brother elliott finds out about the book he tells his parents what he suspects, they dismiss his accusations as false. The son continues to believe he is being followed and then records each day up to the killing. What is unexplained is why would the daughter want to expose her families secrets? and did she know it would cause her brother to go mad and insane? Where the parents aware of what was going on and needed the daughter to cover it up and make it go away? The news reporter becomes obsessed with Emma, to the point that when he finds out that the truth, he destroys the evidence because he is in love and wants to leave town for emma, he leaves his job and waits for her at the airport. She dosent, show up. His friend and fellow reporter ends up with his job and begins looking into the burgess families connection to the book author and the film ends with him looking up at the window of emma. Having the viewer to believe that the cycle will repeat itself again. The movie (the heart of justice 1992 is from the Keith Reddin play.
