  • Jaylen Barron[3] as Zoe Phillips, a 15 year old girl from LA who spends the summer in her mother's hometown island in England, where she develops a kinship with a horse named Raven.
  • Freddy Carter[3] as Peter "Pin" Hawthorne, a quiet and brooding stable boy whom initially Zoe finds suspicious. Pin is the son of Ted. Pin's mother left the family when Pin was five. Pin is the one who encourages Zoe to ride.
  • Manpreet Bambra[3] as Jade, Zoe and Becky's best friend who rides at Bright Fields. She is very logical and practical.
  • Kerry Ingram[3] as Rebecca "Becky" Sidebottom, Zoe and Jade's best friend who rides at Bright Fields. She is convinced of the existence of "Ghost Pony" and is Ben's older sister. Becky is impractical and hyper. Becky works part time at The Barley Bag Cafe. Becky owns a Black and White Pinto horse Gypsy horsenamed Bob.
  • Bruce Herbelin Earle[3] as Marcus, a handsome, well-liked rider and trainer at Bright Fields, who has a past with Mia. He is Sam's cousin.
  • Céline Buckens[3] as Amelia "Mia", a snobby girl whose father financially supports Bright Fields. She and Zoe immediately clash. Mia is jealous of Zoe. After Episode 9 Mia and Zoe put aside their differences and become friends. Mia owns Firefly.
  • Navia Robinson[3] as Rosie Phillips, Zoe's younger sister who has difficulty adjusting to England.
  • Natalie Gumede [3] as Margaret "Maggie" Steel Phillips, Zoe and Rosie's overprotective mother. Maggie is a former equestrian. As a child she had a horse named Emerald. Maggie doesn't allow her daughters to be around horses out of fear that they'll get hurt. Maggie wants to keep her daughters safe and protect Zoe from Raven. Maggie forbids Zoe from riding because she and Emerald had an accident and they were both badly hurt. Emerald broke his leg in their accident after Maggie had a fight with her mom and ran away with him. Emerald couldn't be saved and died. Maggie blamed herself for Emerald's death. After their accident Maggie became afraid of horses and riding. Maggie eventually started riding again to help her accept the fact that Zoe was going to ride whether she liked it or not. Maggie reluctantly lets Zoe ride on the condition that she's careful.
  • Caroline Ford as Samantha "Sam" Myers, the sensible owner of Bright Fields and one of the trainers. She is Marcus' cousin.
  • Noah Huntley as Elliott, Mia's wealthy, but often absent, father. Elliott is a childhood friend of Maggie and Ted. Elliott encourages Maggie to ride again. He gives Maggie riding lessons at night.
  • Geoffrey McGivern[3] as Francis "Frank" Steel, Maggie's father, Huck's father-in-law, and Zoe and Rosie's grandfather. Frank is fun loving. Upon the arrival of Zoe's family Frank is recovering from a broken foot. When Meredith arrives with papers proving that she's Raven's legal owner he tries to assure Zoe that Raven will always be in her heart.
  • Carla Woodcock as Susie, Mia's best friend who is often bossed around by Mia.
  • Billy Angel as Benjamin "Ben" Sidebottom, Becky's younger brother.
  • Milo Twomey as Edward "Ted" Hawthorne, Pin's shifty father who has a past with Maggie. Ted is the one who buried Emerald when he died. Ted wants Pin to stay away from Zoe's family. Ted believes that Zoe will hurt Pin.
  • Holly Hayes as Meredith Moore, Raven's rightful owner. The final episode of Season 1 reveals that Raven was stolen from Meredith as a foal. Meredith explains that Raven's registered name is Midnight Blue and he's a racehorse. Meredith informs the gang that Raven is the son of the famous race horse Ruby Dawn. When Meredith shows up to legally take Raven home with her he refuses to leave Bright Fields and Zoe. After Zoe reasons with Meredith she agrees to board Raven at Bright Fields. She asks Zoe to train Raven for her despite the fact that she's flying home to LA. Zoe has to chose whether she is going to stay in England or return to LA.
  • Ryan Sands as Huck Phillips, Zoe and Rosie's laid back father, Maggie's husband, and Frank's son-in-law. Ryan supports the fact that Zoe wants to ride.
  • Paul Luebke as Derek Rigley, a realistic police officer who has a crush on Sam. In the Season 1 finale Derek is disappointed in Sam when he has to arrest her for helping a gang of horse thieves steal Raven and Firefly.
 
 
 
 
The team behind Hollyoaks reveal their exciting Netflix drama starring new and familiar faces
Lime Pictures, the team behind Hollyoaks and The Only Way Is Essex, have unveiled new details of an upcoming Netflix drama. The ten part coming of age story is being filmed in Wales and North West England and focuses on an American teenager called Zoe who has an adventurous summer in the British countryside.
